Hey everyone 
We’re PeptideGrade, a new UK-based research-material supplier.
I wanted to introduce ourselves rather than jumping into discussions and pretending we aren't a business.
One of the main reasons we started building PeptideGrade was because researching this space highlighted how difficult it can be to work out what supplier documentation actually demonstrates.
A headline “99% purity” figure doesn't answer every quality question. Identity, chromatographic purity, assay/content, batch correspondence and other analytical tests are separate pieces of information.
So we're trying to build PeptideGrade around transparency rather than just a catalogue.
We're developing:
Public analytical documentation where available
Batch-specific verification pages
Clear separation between supplier documentation and independent testing
Educational guides covering COAs, HPLC and analytical methods
Internal batch and material traceability
UK-based fulfilment
We're still early, and I don't want to pretend otherwise. In particular, we don't currently have independent testing completed for our inventory, and when testing/documentation is published we'll clearly state who performed it and what it actually demonstrates.
Alongside the store, we're building a free Research Hub explaining things like how to read a Certificate of Analysis, what HPLC can and cannot tell you, and how different analytical methods answer different questions.
If anyone here works with analytical chemistry, laboratory QC or research materials, I'd genuinely welcome criticism of what we're building. I'd rather improve our standards now than discover six months from now that we've overlooked something important.
