I m 46 now. Training for 25 years, used most of the compounds. Didn't have the potential or the money to be a bb. Just train and eat like one. Keeping my body and mind in order!!!

You sound very similar to me in some ways.
If you just want to stay in shape or hold/gain a bit of muscle you should do okay with low lest/low tren but using the word `recomp` conjours up images in my mind of guys who want to make big physical changes (perhaps after a long lay off). You'd be wasting your time using low doses for that goal IME.
In my situation I'm 4 stone lighter than I used to be in my prime but I maintain a decent size/physique blasting 500 test, 200 tren (or 200 deca) twice a year and then cruising on low test/low primo for the other months. Muscle memory is a wonderful thing for guys with a long solid training history but for me to recomp to 19 stone of mass again I would need some serious gear doses.
Training and diet wouldn't get me there.
