I used to go quite regularly in my heavier lifting days, find a good one who’s not scared to get in there and well, hurt you lol

Word of advice neck a load of water afterwards, my very first one was around 8pm and I went straight home to bed and woke up hungover, apparently the knots release a ton of toxins and they need flushing out

Deep tissue

I've only tried this once and it was painful more than therapeutic. It felt like the guy was actually trying to touch my bones. I quit the session after 15 minutes and never went back.
A massage, in my opinion, should be relaxing and soothing.

Got some tissue work on lower back hamstring glutes still bit tight but will take a while lot of work needed but to expensive to go lots so every month or so girl is good and cheapest which is ideal but now resting back to it Monday

Then you should of opted for one of many of variations of massages most places have on offer mate.
A deep tissue is going to be far from relaxing and it hurts for a reason, if it is what you need then you will be glad of it later.

TBH mate....the only massages I've ever had were all done by girlfriends and they were enjoyable.
My GP suggested deep tissue due to shoulder and back problems I was having at the time but the experience was fucking brutal.
The guy used his elbows and knees and most of his bodyweight :mad:
