Beef stew with mac-n-cheese. Fasting again now for 12 hours and need emergency dental treatment too that I tried to get done today but all NHS dental services not available in my area until tomorrow morning

I'm in fucking agony and loaded up on ibuprofen, paracetamol, codeine, and cheap white rum. No sleep tonight !

Tomato soup, chicken breast, broccoli, brown rice, WPC, maltodextrin. All blended into a liquid meal with 1ltr water due to tooth-ache.

What’s going on with the tooth mate, abscess?

Fucking bonkers story mate. It seems one of my rear/lower nashers (rear chewing teeth) has suddenly disappeared to reveal the roots of the tooth but they can't do an NHS extraction without surgery (referral to hospital/specialist). Spoke to my GP today. He says 1 year waiting list (n)

1 year! That's outrageous!
Sorry to hear that mate, theres not much worse pain that beats bad toothache.
Going to have to try to insist they do it sooner or find an alternative.
A few years ago, I had to pay an old dentist of mine to extract a couple of back teeth for me. He did it on a Saturday morning and he was on his own, even gave me a general anesthetic. Woke up, all done, apart from some minor bruising on my chest (probably from his elbows...or knees 😬).
Luckily, no sore arse 😆

Hope you get it fixed soon.

Our NHS system is overall proper fucked. I had an eye test for new specs last week and because I answered "Yes" to occasionally seeing a floater in my vision the optician said she wanted to refer me to a glaucoma specialist via NHS. She gave me 3 choices of nearby sites. Waiting lists were all 8 to 12 months !

You're right about tooth-ache though. It's the worst type of pain. It's constant and there's literally nothing you can do about it. I'm on codeine every 4 hours atm and drinking booze at night to make myself numb/sleep but that combo isn't doing my mental state any favours. Asking for another appointment with GP today but that's a problem too since most of the Docs at my surgery don't even want face to face meetings anymore and will only talk on the phone. Brexit and Covid have totally destroyed the UK infrastructures.

To be fair you haven’t asked his entire days eating here just assuming he’s dieting down mate lol

Yes mate, I am making assumptions based on previous posts. The last time I chatted with trenebrahh in this thread he had just eaten 2 weetabix and a whey shake. This thread is not an argument though and I'm not pushing for seriousness.

Pretty much anything I post on here now is just to try and keep this forum alive/active...

I love cherries occasionally (usually in juice form) but WTF is fage?

I'm off to do research. Everyday is a learning day...

Top man, for all its quietness and the few boards we’ve had before it have been somewhat just as quiet I still much prefer quality over quantity mate.

Fage is an expensive Greek yoghurt, looking at £4.50-£5 per tub nothing special whatsoever mate, I but Aldis own or Lidl but my sister had this in yesterday and didn’t like it or want it, me being a free loader was happy to take it straight off her hands.

Fage has become one of those “bro bodybuilder” foods mate that’s all, Skyr is even better

Breakfast coming up and it will be

2 x tins of tuna steak with salt and pepper

“Fake-away” Fajita sauce mixed in with a side salad (the sauce is one of those zero calorie type things)

4 egg omelette with cherry toms and onion

Zero calorie ketchup drizzled over the omelette

Brings me on the topic that’s been going round my head and I know FF had tuna sandwiches the other day but is Tuna not so popular in this sport anymore?

When I started out it was more a staple than chicken breast was, heck you even had those old timers who drank Diet Coke and a tin of tuna or with lime cordial lol

99p a can for the Aldi steak not flakes stuff

2 x tins is pushing in 50g of protein there and I love the stuff, just never seem to see folk including tuna much these days in their diets.

It’s cheap, it’s nice and it’s great protein.

Or are too many now just following the same type of copy n paste diets from these online coaches where it’s all ground beef and Turkey mince etc?
